Title:Bubble Gum

Artist Sherry Wolf is renowned for her super realistic painting technique, which is so life-like, that her work is often mistaken as a photograph. Her history, beginning with friend and mentor Leo Castelli to today’s friendships with contemporary collectors, top entertainment personalities and fashion business elites, has given her an exceptional life. Her fans were relieved when she reemerged back into the art world after the shock of losing her 22-year-old daughter Chelsea. If it wasn't for the persistence of Hollywood Producer Jerry Weintraub (Oceans 11series), who hosted an amazing A-list Hollywood tribute/event to honor Sherry at this Palm Desert Residence, she might still be frozen in grief. (see pictures from the event in the " Art Event" Section)

What is remarkable about her paintings is that, at first glance, you see her amazing photorealistic images. But at a second glance you see that her realistic paintings are totally and completely unique from any other photo or hyperrealistic painters because she successfully merges contemporary, conceptual elements with her photorealistic images. The results are breathtaking.

She began her career showing at The Allan Stone Gallery in New York City, her Artist in the Studio painting is in the permanent collection at the Albright-Knox Museum, her paintings hang in the White House, and her art has been shown and collected internationally for years.

Her recent works have been shown at the Imago Gallery, Palm Desert, California; ArtHampton Art Fair , Bridgehampton, New York; RJD Gallery, Sag Harbor, New York ; Art Southampton Art Fair , Southampton , New York ; The Peter Marcelle Project Gallery, Southampton New York; The Lawrence Gallery, East Hampton, New York
